The sexy v-neck sweater, classy, timeless, versatile. You can dress it up for formal occasions or down for when you’re just chilling with friends thanks to its versatility. Comes in a variety of colors, patterns, and fabrics. It’s a stylish and in my opinion much better alternative to standard crew-neck sweater.
A black v-neck sweater is a must. Once you’ve got that, grab a navy, or beige color sweater to match the fall and winter color scheme. These colors are versatile and will pair nicely with anything you’ve got in your closet.
Sweaters are comfortable when they fit well. When you’re purchasing a sweater, bare in mind that the sweater will shrink aways remember, fit is key, you don’t want a sweater too baggy, then you don’t want one too tight. It should lightly hug your arms and body, particularly in the chest region to give you that masculine look.
The whole point of a sweater is to shield you from the cold. For maximum protection, a wool fabric sweater will be the warmest. Cashmere is the most luxurious kind of wool, but it is on the pricier side. Merino is a nice affordable alternative. Not as great as cashmere but won’t leave as much of a dent in your wallet. While wool is great for cold weather, a sweater can still be pulled off with a lighter fabric in spring or summer with a cotton fabric.
It’s all just a matter of finding the right fabrics that suits your budget at the right time of the year.
Crew neck vs v-neck
For me, crew necks are okay, but they’re a bit more on the casual side. Personally, I prefer a smart casual look and V-necks add a touch of class that you just won’t get with a crewneck.
