We’ve been trying out different wireless earbuds for the longest time, testing the strengths and weaknesses of different earbuds from different brands.
Today we’re taking a look at wireless earbuds from Vodo. The Vibe True Wireless Earbuds. We’ve been testing the Vibe earbuds for a month, is it worth it?
Design – Sleek and Minimal
Wireless earbuds we’ve tried out are generally low profile and minimal in terms of design, but not as minimal as these. The Vodo vibe wireless earbuds look gorgeous. There are no buttons on the surface of the earbuds, just a simple glossy finish that’s touch-sensitive. It can be a fingerprint magnet if you get it in black. But it looks so gorgeous that I’ll give it a pass on that.
Extremely Comfortable
Now, as we know, the design is responsible for how comfortable or uncomfortable they are, so let’s discuss it.
The Vodo Vibe wireless earbuds are the most comfortable wireless earphone we’ve tested so far. The design ergonomically fits in your ear perfectly. So perfect that it feels like it was built for your ear from the ground up. This allows for better noise cancellation and security in your ear when moving around or exercising, that matters when it comes to wireless earbuds.
It’s also pretty light weight-wise, at a weight of only 1.9oz, a piece of paper is 1.6oz.
The Vodo vibe wireless earbuds come with 3 optional wingtips and 3 ear tips, which I didn’t use, it fits great out of the box.
Features
What sets these wireless earbuds apart from ones we’ve tested is its touch control. Whether you’re right-handed or left-handed, Vodo Vibe can be controlled on either side of your ears. Both earbuds follow the same type of commands. The touch functionality can take a while to get used. It’s sensitive, so you will experience a lot of accidental touches at first.
With its touch functionality, you have full operating control, well… except for volume control, which is unfortunate.
But you have full control of music, manage stereo calls and voice assistant. There’s a lot of gestures involved in using these controls and that requires a learning curve. I find myself just using my phone to control sound and using the simple play and pause control, or tapping to pick up a phone call. But once you master its gestures you barely ever need your phone, well.. except for volume control.
These wireless earbuds also feature ambient noise reduction in its dual mic, as well as wind noise protection for a better phone experience, which works well. Vodo rates the Vibe wireless earbuds at IP55; that number means they offer substantial protection from particles like dust, water, and sweat.
The Vodo Vibe features a magnetic base in the case and I love that. You never have to worry about them falling out, and putting them in is snappy and convenient. Another thing I love is the fact the charging case has a USB-C port, which is a nice, progressive change from micro USB. Speaking of charging the case with USB-C, what about battery life?
Decent Battery Life
The Vodo Vibe is equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology and with an ultra-low power consumption technology that’s meant to give you up to 6h playtime on a single charge and with the charging case, you can get up to 24 hours of extra battery on the go.
On paper, it sounds great, but from testing it, battery life is average. Nothing noticeably different from other wireless earbuds on the market, which isn’t a bad thing, but not a fantastic either.
How Does It Sound?
The Vodo Vibe has a very balanced sound. It’s crisp with good bass; the fit plays a huge role in how it sounds in terms of isolation. Are they the best sounding wireless earbuds? No. But the average user will be very pleased with how these sound.
Are the Vodo Vibe Wireless Earbuds Worth It?
If you’re someone who wears earphones for a prolonged amount of time, maybe you exercise or you want to switch to wireless, comfort is a priority to you and you don’t want them falling out while running. That alone makes the Vodo Vibe wireless earbuds worth the investment.
They’re not feature-packed with health features, GPS, or a hear though feature like the Jabra 65T Active, which is close to these price-wise.
If you’re looking for feature-packed wireless earbuds, then these are not for you. But if comfort is solely a priority, I can recommend these.

Final Thoughts
For $129.99, the Vodo Vibes Wireless Earbuds don’t have as many features as premium wireless earbuds from Apple or Jabra at the same price point. But the comfort is a significant selling point, what differentiates these from others. If you’re solely looking for comfort, you can’t go wrong with the Vodo Vibes Wireless Earbuds.
